Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden is an oasis of beauty and tranquillity in the heart of Wrocław. It is a lively museum, as well as a scientific and didactic center and a favorite place of rest for Wrocław residents.

It is located on the northern side of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Holy Cross, partly within the historical Ostrów Tumski, at a distance of approx. 2 km from the Market Square. It is the second oldest garden in Poland (after the Cracow garden), entered into the list of monuments of the Lower Silesia province and located within the boundaries of the Wrocław historic center which is under special protection.
