The Botanical Garden is an oasis of beauty and tranquillity in the heart of Wrocław. It is a lively museum, as well as a scientific and didactic center and a favorite place of rest for Wrocław residents.

It is located on the northern side of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Holy Cross, partly within the historical Ostrów Tumski, at a distance of approx. 2 km from the Market Square.
